Bora Building is a large building built next to the town of Bora, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. According to the Warrior's conversation with GrandHypnock in Hora Headquarters, the building was built as a place for the different species around the world to meet. In Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, it is revealed that the Warrior's father, Butch, is in charge of the Cornerstone Construction Crew that works on the building.

Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

Bora Building is the second level in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It is a multi-leveled building that is under construction, though the magic of the Bora Gem added Transfer Panels around the interior. Bora Building's design underwent a drastic change during the development stages. Originally, the player was supposed to open several Treasure Chests in order to find the Key to the next room and the rooms all looked exactly alike. While Keys still play a part in the redesigned dungeon, several Transfer Panels that warp the player to different rooms were added. Workers will attack the player throughout the interior of the building, with Elite Workers starting to attack from the third floor onward. Hypnock is the boss of this dungeon, who waits at the top of Bora Building.

Alex's Statement

After beating the game, Alexander Bodine can be found on the roof of Bora Building. He also turns into Hypnock if the player is under the effects of Doppel's Dimension.

Hypnock is probably one of my more favorite characters. His name is a combination of "hypnotic" and "clock." I thought a regular hypnotist would be somewhat boring, so I made Hypnock! As for the land he hails from, you'll see it one day and he talks about it by name in the remake. Well, see you around!

Power Master: A Strange Journey MV

In Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, Bora and Bora Building share the same map. The interior of Bora Building is vastly different from the original game, though Transfer Panels and Door Keys are still used. Push Blocks are also scattered around the dungeon, and an additional enemy, an Essence of Health, can be fought as an ally of one of the Workers. Players are also capable of climbing through windows onto the sidling, and a ladder serves as an additional entrance into Bora Building. The roof of Bora Building overlooks the Land of Shadurn.

Once Bora Building has finished completion, the ladder is removed and the interior of Bora Building becomes filled with chairs and tables. Additionally, there are no more attacking Workers and the Transfer Panels are missing, though the Essence of Health can still be fought in one of the rooms.

Quest

Unlike most dungeons, a quest can be accepted here after Hypnock's defeat. On the fourth floor, the player can find an Elite Worker named Percy. He says his staff has been reduced due to Hypnock scaring some of them off, so he's looking for more help. He will give the player a Worker Outfit, but as of demo 0.2.0, the quest cannot be completed.
