From Power Master Wiki

Xora Xeno is an area north of the Town of Xora, first seen in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. The term "Xeno" means "something strange or foreign to a group", though is usually used as a prefix.

Xora Xeno appears as a large field with what seems to be crop markings, a stereotypical thing to associate with Alien encounters. Stepping into the center of the marking will bring the player to Xora Spaceship. Once the player defeats Xenu, they cannot access the Spaceship again.

Development

Xora Xeno, the coinciding Spaceship, and the Alien enemies were not originally meant to be in Power Master 1. At first, it was a large set of instruments and the player had to play them in order to get to the end and fight the boss "Maestro". The concept was replaced by Xora Xeno and Xora Spaceship when the creator could not draw the right sprites.[1]

Xora Xeno returns in Power Master: A Strange Journey MV, though it is now the name of the large observatory in the field north of the Town of Xora[Reference incoming]. It also shares its map with the town. In the observatory, the player can meet Professor Howe, who asks if they would like to see through his telescope. If the player accepts, they will be teleported to The Moon where they can find Galactrila and get back the town's belongings. However, if twenty days have passed, the player will not be able to access The Moon and the Xora Gem cannot be collected.

But because RPGMaker didn't provide me with large instruments, and I'm terrible at making sprites myself, I changed what its story was." - Alex in Xora, Power Master 1: A Strange Journey
