In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Thunder Shields are rare shields, though they can be bought at the Blacksmith in Yora. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Lightning with a shield. When equipped, it increases the wielder's Defense by 50 and the wielder will be immune to the Paralyzed status. However, the wielder will become weak to Stone-based attacks, but become strong against Ice- and Lightning-based attacks
