In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Dark Shields are rare shields, though they can be bought at the Blacksmith in Yora. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Nightmare with a shield. When equipped, it increases the wielder's Defense by 100, making it the strongest shield in the game, and the wielder will be immune to the Confused status. Additionally, the wielder will become strong against Light-, Stone-, Dark-, Physical-, and Weapon-based attacks.
