Doppel mimicking Stephan in Power Master 1

Doppel is the boss of its dimension, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It is a powerful being, capable of bending space and time at will. It has no set appearance, mimicking its opponents' form, movements, and speech. When it copies someone, it has an inverted color-scheme and it repeats what the person it is copying says back at them, usually to the annoyance of the person it is copying. Doppel does have a way of communicating on its own, as seen on the signs throughout its dimension. It can also not repeat what the person it is copying said, but is unable to talk on its own when doing so. Doppel can also split into many beings in order to copy multiple people. It also casts a white shadow.

Its name is a shorted variant of the term doppelgänger, which is a being or person that greatly resembles another.

Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

Doppel is always split into four, despite how many members are part of the player's team at the time of the encounter. It mimics the four main characters: Stephan, Jennifer, Hamilton, and Helen. It will not mimic Samantha or Jasmine, even if they are in the battle. When defeated, it drops a Battle Sword, Bow, Axe, and Shield, as well as its card.

According to the Guardian of Zora, Kyle and Merlina fought Doppel as well.
