In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, a Book of Shine is an equipable weapon. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Lightning with a Book of Light. Book of Shine deals both Lightning- and Light-based damage and it increases the wielder's Attack by 20. It makes the wielder strong against Light-, Wind-, Lightning-, and Ice-based attacks, but weak to Dark- and Stone-based ones. Book of Shine also has a 40% chance of inflicting either a Paralyzed or Blinded state on the enemy.
