In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, a Book of Hail is an equipable weapon. According to its description, it is created by fusing a Book of Ice and a Book of Stone together. Book of Hail deals both Ice- and Stone-based damage and increases the wielder's Attack by 50. It makes the wielder strong against Ice-, Wind-, and Water-based moves, with the wielder taking 75% less damage from Ice attacks, but weak to Fire- and Lightning-based ones. It also has a 40% chance of inflicting either a Frozen or Petrified status ailment on the enemy.
