Possessed, originally just Possess, is a Status Ailment in the Power Master series, starting from Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. When afflicted with this state, the player losses control of the possessed character, and the character will attack their allies instead of the enemy. In Power Master 1: A Strange Journey, Possessed has a 45% chance of being removed when attacked. In Power Master: A Strange Journey MV onward, it cannot be removed by the player, but will be removed when the battle ends or if the character is afflicted with another state with an action restriction, such as Asleep.

Currently, the only move able to inflict this status is Possess.
