Power Master 1

Fora Temple is the first dungeon level of Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. It is a temple crafted by the Guardian of Fora and it is meant to protect the Fora Gem. An earlier build of the Temple was made using the Unity engine and was uploaded to play on the itch.io site on July 1st, 2016.

Room 1

The first room contains multiple doors, with the exit into Fora Forest to the south. The doors in the center and to the left lead to Treasure Chests containing a Book of Wind and a Key respectively. Use the Key to unlock the door on the right. Battles with a single Monster can occur in this room.

Room 2

The next section has multiple rooms. To the left are two Treasure Chests that can be accessed through the previous room. Take the two flight of stairs to continue to the next floor. The Chest containing a Gold Ser (200) can only be accessed by falling into the room from the above floor, as the door will only open from the inside. A single Monster will appear during battles in the lower segment of this floor, but a pair of Monsters will appear in the northern segment.

Room 3

The Chest containing a Hammer Sword can only be accessed if the player has a Bomb. Navigate through the hole-filled room in the north to collect a Key, then use the Key to open the door in the south, which leads to the boss room. Dropping down into the hole on the upper-right will lead the player to a Gold Ser. A pair of Monsters will appear in the first room with a Swordsman appearing in the northern one. No enemies appear in the room with the Warp Panel.

Room 4

The only thing in this room is the Silver Knight, who will begin talking to the player as soon as they enter the room. Until the player defeats the Silver Knight, he will remain in the room and the player will be unable to continue the story.

If the player returns after beating the game, Alexander Bodine will be in Silver Knight's place. He will also become the Silver Knight if the player is under the effects of Doppel's Dimension.

I enjoy giving my characters an aura of mystery around them. Silver Knight, Mysterious Man... Just who are these guys? Even I don't know. I don't know where I'm going with these characters, but I guess that just adds to the fun! On a different topic, I've noticed the forest is usually a starting point for many video game heroes, so I thought why not continue the trend? Well, see you around!
