The Area Unknown is, like the name implies, an area in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey whose location is unknown. In game, is is a place where the player is able to re-fight all the bosses they've defeated (aside from Skipper). The Mysterious Man and Alexander Bodine's team can also be battled here.
Originally, the area wasn't supposed to exist in the final game. It was created "for fun" during the testing stages, but was carried over.[1]
