Status Ailment

Status Ailments are additional properties forced onto characters and enemies that affect the way battles play out. Usually, they are caused by a special parameter included with certain skills or weapons. Depending on the ailment, it will either help or hinder the effected target.

Types of Ailments

Agility Down

Also called Slowed, the character's Agility is reduced for a time.

Agility Up

Raises the character's Agility for a time.

Asleep

The character falls asleep and cannot move for three to five turns. The character has a chance of waking up if they are attacked.

Blinded

The character's accuracy falls for three to five turns.

Blown

The character cannot move until their next turn.

Burned

The character takes damage for two to five turns.

Confused

The character will attack anyone or do a random command for two to four turns. The character has a chance of regaining their senses if attacked.

Defeated

This occurs when the character's Health reaches zero. Character cannot move until revived.

Defense Down

Lowers the character's Defense for a time.

Defense Up

Raises a character's Defense for a time.

Frozen

The character cannot move for three to eight turns.

Luck Down

Lowers the character's Luck for a time.

Luck Up

Raises the character's Luck for a time.

Offense Down

Lowers the character's Offense for a time.

Offense Up

Raises the character's Attack for a time.

Paralyzed

The character cannot move for four to six turns.

Petrified

The character cannot move. The character has a chance of breaking free if attacked.

Poisoned

The character will continuously take damage.

Possessed

The character will attack one of their allies.

Power Down

Lowers the character's Power for a time.

Power Up

Raises the character's Power for a time.

Resistance Down

Lowers the character's Resistance for a time.

Resistance Up

Raises the character's Resistance for a time.
