The Guardians are a group of men, or in Dora's case, woman, who protect or "guard" Moneo and their corresponding Gems, first appearing in Power Master 1: A Strange Journey. They are considered brothers and sister, though not all of them are necessarily related to each other. The Guardians are a nearly-immortal group of people, some are still around since the creation of the world. They rely on the power of the Gems to stay alive well past the standard human life-cycle. However, they can still be killed and can even renounce their Guardian title. It seems that when a Guardian dies or leaves, a new one is appointed in their place, if possible.

Power Master 1: A Strange Journey

Aora

The Guardian of Aora can be a bit "panicy." He kept his Gem with him at all times, until someone stole it from him a day before the player showed up.

Bora

The Guardian of Bora is a very sleepy and slow-moving person. He gave his Gem to the workers to help them finish constructing Bora Building.

Cora

Dora

The Guardian of Dora is the only female Guardian. She is a kind person who is also Fora's sister and grandmother to the player's cousin.

Eora

The Guardian of Eora started preparing for the heroes by keeping his Gem in his attic.

Fora

The Guardian of Fora is the grandfather to the player and acts as a father-figure to them. He keeps his Gem locked up in Fora Temple.

Gora

The Guardian of Gora doesn't appear until after the game is completed. He seems to be a hard-working character, as he's rebuilding his town with help he gathered around Moneo. He also states he's younger than the other Guardians, meaning the final wish didn't effect him.

The first time the player meets the Guardian of Hora, he is under GrandHypnock's control. Defeating him will return him to normal.

Iora

The Guardian of Iora enjoys giving others work to do, says it helps build character. He can also be quite stingy.

Jora

The Guardian of Jora is a slob and does not seem to care about the Gem, though he secretly does, but doesn't want to admit it.

Kora

The Guardian of Kora's whereabouts are unknown, but during the game's ending, it states that Hunter became the town Guardian.

Lora

The Guardian of Lora is easily tricked, accidentally giving the Gem to The Three Mages after they claimed they were the heroes.

Mora

The Guardian of Mora is an energetic person. He had his Gem under a bunch of his things, due to not needing it in a thousand years.

Nora

The Guardian of Nora is held captive in his house by the Ants.

Oora

The Guardian of Oora is a helpful person, offering shelter to people when the town flooded.

Pora

The Guardian of Pora is a noble person, not wanting others to get involved with the town's problems.

Qora

The Guardian of Qora is easily annoyed and selfish, only wanting to sleep and doesn't want to give up the Gem to the heroes.

Rora

The Guardian of Rora is a very careless person, claiming the sharks ate his Gem.

Sora

The Guardian of Sora says Skragon took his Gem.

Tora

The Guardian of Tora is a very calm person, always meditating.

Uora

The Guardian of Uora is good friends with Hamilton.

Vora

The Guardian of Vora's whereabouts are unknown.

Wora

The Guardian of Wora is a collected person, keeping his Gem on him at all times.

Xora

The Guardian of Xora can get easily distressed. He didn't know what to do when the aliens took his Gem and all of the town's belongings.

Yora

The Guardian of Yora is an outgoing person. He mans the Yora Tournament and lets the winner have any one wish.

Zora

The Guardian of Zora is a very worrying person, especially when it comes to Doppel.

After the events of the game, the player, their team, and the friends they made were made Guardians of the towns and Moneo.

The protectors of the land of Moneo. There is one is every town. Some are over a thousand years old, others are younger than that. The majority of the Guardians are boys, with the only female being Dora. They all guard the Gems from falling into the wrong hands, though one turned on them and used the Gems for his own purposes. It's up to you to gather them all and use the power to defeat the fallen Guardian...
